In connection with your use of the IAB UK Creator Qualification Learning Platform, IAB UK may collect personal information such as your name, employer, job title, email address, telephone number, country, account login details, and other information relevant to your registration, learning activity and certification.

IAB UK may also collect and process information relating to your use of the platform, including:

course enrolment;

learning progress;

assessment and exam results;

accreditation and refresher training records;

certificates or qualification status;

login activity; and

technical information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, and access times.

Your personal data is processed where necessary:

to provide you with access to the IAB UK Creator Qualification Learning Platform;

to administer and deliver training, assessments, exams, accreditation and refresher training;

to maintain records of your participation, completion and qualification status;

to communicate with you about your account, training activity or important updates relating to the platform;

to monitor, support and improve the performance, functionality and security of the platform; and

to meet legal, regulatory, audit and industry requirements.

Where necessary for the purposes of administering creator qualification or related standards and recognition, IAB UK may share relevant personal data with the European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA), the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and the Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP). 

IAB UK may also collect information when you contact us directly, submit queries, request support, complete forms, or otherwise interact with us in relation to the platform.

IAB UK processes your personal data on one or more of the following lawful bases, as applicable:

processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract;

processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation;

processing is necessary for the purposes of IAB UK’s legitimate interests in administering and improving the Creator Qualification Learning Platform and related training and accreditation services, except where those interests are overridden by your rights and interests; and where required, processing is based on your consent.

IAB UK takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage.

As the platform is hosted on LearnWorlds.com, certain personal data is processed and stored through that platform on IAB UK’s behalf, subject to appropriate security measures and contractual safeguards.
